Coventry Little League Free Clinic

Fridays February 3, 2023 – February 24, 2023

4:30pm – 6:00pm

Coventry Little Leagues’ Player Development Committee will be running a free 4 week clinic for ages 4 to 9, Followed by 2 weeks of open swings for ages 9-12. This is a free clinic to get great instruction from several experienced coaches that will focus on proper throwing mechanics, catching and hitting. This weekly clinic will be held every Friday from 4:30pm to 6:00pm at the Moe Joes Baseball Facility (62 Sawyer Dr, Coventry RI). The groups will be limited to 20 players per session and can register on the Coventry Little League Website. Take swings, learn the game of baseball, meet other players, meet and speak with experienced coaches and HAVE FUN!

Parents that may have an interest in coaching at this age group, we recommend that you come watch, learn and speak with experienced coaches on the last Friday session, February 24^th. The coaches will be able to answer any questions you have as well as show you drills that target this age group you can use at future practices.

Age groups will be split into two groups to maximize instruction. See Below:

4-6 year olds 4:30pm – 5:15pm

7 – 9 year olds 5:15pm – 6:00pm

For the 9,10,11 and 12 year olds trying out for AAA and Majors Division

The Coventry Little League Player Development Committee will be holding open swings for 2 weeks for everyone trying out at those divisions at Moe Joe Baseball Facility (62 Sawyer Dr, Coventry RI). Come get instruction and work on throwing and hitting mechanics from our experienced coaches to get you prepared for tryouts/evaluations on Saturday, March 11, 2023. Open swings will be held 4:30pm – 6:00pm on Friday, March 3, 2023 and Friday, March 10, 2023.
